using the knife to slice food, always wipe the knife blade with a damp cloth. If knife does not slice food with ease, repeat stage 1 and 2.

Before using this drill, read the present handbook attentively
WARNING! To reduce risks of fire, electric shock and personal injury when using electric tools, you are recommended always to respect basic safety precautions, including the
following precaution. Read these instructions before bringing this product into operation and keep them in a safe place. For completely safe operation:
1] Keep the work area clean
Cluttered work areas and benches are a source of injury.
2] Take the working environment into account
Do not expose tools to rain. Do not use tools in humid locations. Keep the work area well lighted. Do not use tools if there is a risk of fire of explosion.
3] Protection against electric shocks
Avoid bodily contact with earthed surfaces (e.g., pipes, radiators, cookers and refrigerators).
4] Keep children away
Do not let those standing by touch the tool or its power supply cable or extension. You are recommended to keep anyone watching away from the work area.
5] Tidy away tools that are not being used
When tools are not in use, you are recommended to store them in a dry room and locked away out of reach of children.
6] Do not force a tool
The tool will work better and be safer when used at the speed it was intended for.
7] Use the right tool
Do not force light tools or accessories to do jobs normally done with heavier tools. Do not use tools for work for which they are not designed; for example, do not use circular
saws to cut logs or branches.
8] Wear the right clothing
Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery as they can be caught by moving parts. Gloves and non-slip shoes are recommended for outdoor work. Wear a protective hat to hold
back long hair.
9] Wear safety goggles
Also wear a dust protection mask if cutting operations lead to dust.
10] Connect dust extraction equipment
If facilities for the connection of dust collection and evacuation equipment have been provided for, make certain that they are connected and used correctly.
11] Avoid damage to the power supply cable
Never carry the tool by the cable or pull on the cable to pull out the electric plug. Keep the cable away from sources of heat, greasy parts and sharp edges.
12] Secure the part to be machined
Use a clamp or vice to hold the part to be machined. This is safer than holding it in your hand and also frees both hands to operate the tool.
13] Do not overestimate your strength
Always adopt a stable, balanced position when working.
14] Maintain equipment with care
Keep cutting tools sharpened and clean for improved and safer performance. Follow the instructions for lubrication and replacement of accessories. Periodically check the
power supply cable and, if it is damaged, have it replaced by a certified repairer. Periodically check power supply cable extensions and replace them if damaged. Keep the
handles dry, clean and free of oil and grease.
15] Disconnect tools when not in use
Disconnect tools when not in use, before maintenance and to replace accessories like blades, bits and knives.
16] Withdraw adjustment keys
Get into the habit of checking that adjustment keys have been removed from the tool before starting it up.
17] Avoid sudden or unexpected starts
Do not carry a tool connected to the mains with a finger on the start switch or trigger. Make certain that the switch or trigger is in the OFF position before connecting the power
supply plug.
18] Using outdoor extensions
When using the tool outdoors, only use extensions designed and provided for outdoor use.
19] Remain vigilant
Keep an eye on what you are doing. Use common sense. Do not use the tool when you are tired.
20] Check damaged parts
Before using the tool again, you are recommended to check carefully any damaged guard or other part to determine whether it can operate correctly and fulfil its function. Check
the alignment of moving parts, their free movement, breakage of parts, assembly and all other conditions that can affect the tool’s operation. Except where otherwise stated in
the instructions, you are recommended to have a guard or any other damaged part correctly repaired or replaced by a certified agent. Defective switches must be replaced by a
certified agent. Do not use the tool if the ON/OFF switch does not function correctly.

Using any accessory other than those recommended in the instructions can lead to risk of personal injury.
22] Have the tool repaired by qualified personnel
The present electric tool complies with the appropriate safety rules. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified personnel using original spare parts. Failure to respect this
recommendation could considerably endanger the user.
Maintenance:
Before any operation of adjustment, from maintenance and/or repair, please withdraw the socket-outlet.
- Maintain the slits of the machine in good state of cleanliness.
- Cleaning must be carried out using a dry and slightly wet rag
- Lubricate the variable components periodically
- Not use caustic agents for the cleaning of the plastics
- Very defective part must be replaced by qualified personnel.
