Tip:
Always remove the canopy before storage or moisture may
allow mold and mildew to grow in the boat.
1. Disconnect the battery from the ESC and remove from the boat.
2. Power off the transmitter.
It is normal to have the boat list to the left side when you place the
boat in water. This is a natural effect of the built-in water ballast,
which helps the boat self-right when upside down.
The self-right feature on your boat works by the physical action of
filling the water ballast on the left side of the boat. You do not have to
apply throttle to self-right the boat. If your boat flips over, wait a few
seconds for the ballast to fill with water. Once the boat has corrected
itself, drive your boat as you normally would. The water in the ballast
will evacuate with the boat’s forward momentum.
The boat also has a weight installed in the flood chamber. Dropping
the boat or hitting the boat against an immovable object could knock
the weight loose. If the weight comes loose, glue the weight back in
place inside of the ballast. The weight must be placed 60mm forward
as measured from the back of the boat.
NOTICE:
Ensure the boat’s flood chamber is always free of debris.
Debris obstructing the 5 holes on the top of the left-hand sponson will
prevent water from entering the ballast, which will prevent the boat
from self-righting correctly.
Do not block the water ballast’s exit hole on the back of the left
sponson. Doing so will cause the boat to drag the left side under
water, which will negatively affect performance.

After Boating and Maintenance
Motor Care
• Drain water from inside the hull.
• Fully dry the inside and outside of the boat, including the water cooling
lines and jacket around the motor. Remove the hatch before storing
your boat.
• Repair any damage or wear to the boat.
• Lubricate the drive shaft using Pro Boat Marine Grease (DYNE4200).
• Make note of lessons learned from the trimming of your boat, including
water and wind conditions.
Tip:
The hook and loop strips in the boat retain water. To dry them,
press on them with a dry cloth.
NOTICE:
When you are finished boating, never leave the boat in
direct sunlight or in a hot, enclosed area such as a car. Doing so can
damage the boat.
• Prolong motor life by preventing overheating conditions. Undue motor
wear results from frequent turns, stops and starts, pushing objects,
boating in rough water or vegetation, and boating continuously at high
speed.
• Over-temperature protection is installed on the ESC to prevent circuit
damage, but cannot protect the motor from excessive physical
resistance.
• Use Dynamite Precision Oiler (DYNE0100) to service the motor’s
bearings. If the bearings get wet, use water displacement fl uid before
oiling the bearings to prevent rust or seizure.
If water does not stream out of the water outlets while the boat is
moving forward, immediately return the boat to shore and clean any
obstructions or remove kinks from the water cooling lines/system.
1. Disassemble and clean the water cooling system to remove
blockage and prevent overheating.
2. Replace damaged parts.
