Damp roomLight strip

Operating and Maintenance Manual

Dear Customer,

Thank you for purchasing our luminaire. Please thoroughly read the following operating instructions

before placing the light into service and keep them for future reference.

Proper use

Luminaire for wall and ceiling mounting on normally flammable surfaces in dry or damp rooms. Not

suitable for through-wiring.

The luminaire is compliant with the relevant European CE directives.

General Safety Instructions

• Follow the operating instructions and keep them in a safe place!

• Pass on the operating instructions to the following owner!

• Not to be used by children!

• Do not operate a defective luminaire!

• Electrical connections may only be carried out by authorised qualified personnel!

• Always disconnect from the mains before starting work!

• Switch off the house fuse!

• The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable, if the light source needs to be replaced

(e.g. at the end of its life), the complete luminaire must be replaced.

• Never look directly into the LED light source. The transmitted light spectrum may contain blue

proportions!

• Always install at least 1m away from illuminated surfaces - especially the connection cable must

not be illuminated.

• Always allow to cool down sufficiently and for cleaning purposes disconnect the luminaire from

the power supply and secure the circuit against being switched on again.

• Install only on flat, stable surface!

• Use only with a sufficiently protected 230V~ installation.

• Must not be used in rooms with explosion hazard (e.g. carpentry workshop, paint shop, or

similar).

• must not be used in the immediate vicinity of flammable materials.

• Do not install in the immediate vicinity of paddling pools, fountains, ponds or similar waters.

• Must not be immersed in water or other liquids.

• Do not operate with wet hands.

• Must never be sprayed or cleaned using a steam pressure cleaner since this can damage the

insulation and seals.

• Must never be repaired by the user. Repairs must only be carried out by the manufacturer or an

authorised service representative.
