Connect the other end of the tubing to the pilot 

burner according to the instructions supplied with 

the Q3450/Q3480.

NOTE:

The pilot tubing provides the SmartValve Sys-

tem flame sense current path. Make sure the 

connections are clean and tight for proper oper-

ation.

Wiring

Follow the wiring instructions furnished by the appliance 

manufacturer, if available, or use the general instructions 

provided below. When these instructions differ from the 

appliance manufacturer, follow the appliance 

manufacturer instructions.

All wiring must comply with applicable electrical codes 

and ordinances.
