3.4 • Installing the cord and setting the pre-tension
Take the cord and lay it at the top along the wheel and into
the bottom rail end cap. Then, follow along the upper side of
the pulley wheel to the clam cleat. Simply secure the cord in
the clam cleat, but do not put any pre-tension on the spring.

onto the screen fabric.

Adjust the pre-tension on the
springs. Release the cord form
the clam cleat and pull the
spring out so that the pulley
wheel aligns with the black
strip. Place the cord back into
the locked position in the clam
cleat and fit the cord to the
bolt (check that the edge of the
pulley wheel aligns with the
side of the black strip).

Roll the fabric up and down twice and check that there is enough tension (check that the side of
the pulley is flush with the sides of the black strip).
Check that the cord runs through the wheels in the right position at every point.
Correct, if necessary.

Remove the screw from the spring plate. Close the bottom bar.

Close the side guides and screw them securely in place by using
the hex bolts M4 x 25 (nr. 3 hex key). Let the screen run out until
its lowest end-point (fabric roller is fully visible in this position).
