10.5 Setting user code
You can programme up to 8 user codes to arm and disarm the alarm control centre.
The alarm control centre must be in programming mode.
Proceed as follows to enter the user codes from 1 to 8:

• The user code should be between 2 and 5 digits long.
• If you have entered the new user code, the old user code will be overwritten.
• User code 1 is also the access code to arm or disarm the alarm control centre using a dual tone multifre-
quency capable phone.
• You must programme at least one user code to arm and disarm the alarm control centre.
• To delete the user code, select the memory location and press the # button. This memory location is now
no longer available.
If, for example the user code 1 is 12345 for example, then no other user code may be 32345 (this
is automatically the silent alarm code for user 1). This code results from adding 2 to the first
location code.
