ALARM -link-plug
You can set the switching mode for the ALARM relay contact (“ALARM” connection clamps) by placing the
ALARM jumper in the desired position.
N.O. =
NO = normally open = closer = the switching contact closes when heat change is detected.
N.C. =
NC = normally closed = opener = the switching contact opens when heat change is detected.
Explanation of movement sensor connection clamps:
DC12V = Connect the operating voltage (power) from the alarm control centre (clamps 3 and 5) to
these clamps in the correct polarity.
TAMPER = This clamp is labelled as a so-called sabotage contract. It serves as an opener contact (NC)
if the housing is opened.
ALARM = The alarm outlet (NC or NO, depending on how the “ALARM” jumper is set) switches if a
movement sensor detects a change in temperature.
8.7 Siren
Use the siren supplied to create an acoustic alarm signal.
Ensure that the red cable is connected to the po-
sitive power supply (e.g. clamp 9) and the black
is connected to the ground. Incorrect polarity can
lead to false alarms, defects or functional impair-
ment.
