d) Master mode
• Set the desired auto mode or sound mode at the master device.
An LV-DJ13 device in auto mode operation or sound mode operation will automatically work as master
device.
Only one device in a master-slave-chain must be defined as master device. All other devices must be
defined as slave devices.
The first device is always defined as the master device. All other devices in series are slave devices.
e) Slave mode
• Use the MENU button to select SLAVE mode (SLAu).
f) Use with an external DMX controller
Each DMX device in a DMX chain requires a so-called DMX starting address to be clearly identified by the controller.
This DMX starting address specifies the first DMX channel to which the effect light responds. The remaining control
channels come after this first DMX channel (DMX starting address).
The effect light requires 8 DMX channels.
Setting the DMX Start Address and the DMX Mode
• Select DMX operation (display A001 - A512) with the MENU button.
• Select the desired start address A001 - A512 with the UP and DOWN buttons.
The following table provides information about the effects of the settings on the individual DMX channels.
