d) Learning mode
• Push the „SONG“ button (23) to activate song mode. „SONG“ appears at the upper left of the display.
Playback of all songs starts automatically when song mode is activated. Proceed as follows to start playback of a spe-
cific song.
• Push the „START/STOP“ button (24) to pause playback of all songs.
• Use the „DATA DIAL“ (18) or the „+“/„-“ keys (20) to select the desired song (available settings: „00“ to „99“).
• Repeatedly push the „LESSON“ button (8) to activate one of three learning modes (the display shows the current setting) or to
exit learning mode.
Learning mode 1:
Learning mode 1 is used to practice playing a note for the right length. The note you play is irrelevant in this mode. Sound plays
back only when the note is played for the correct length.
Learning mode 2:
Learning mode 2 is used to practice playing the right note. The song continues only when the right note is played. If a wrong note
is played on the keyboard, sound does not play back and the song does not continue.
Learning mode 3:
Learning mode 3 is used to practice playing the right note for the right length — it is a combination of learning mode 1 and 2.
With a learning mode activated (the number „1“, „2“ or „3“ is shown at the bottom left of the display), you can use the
„LEFT“ or „RIGHT“ button (10) to choose to practice with your left or right or both hands.
Push both buttons at the same time to practice with both hands.
The display shows a hand symbol with „L“ and „R“.
• Push the „START/STOP“ button (24) to start playback of the song.
• View the keyboard image on the display to see which key to play to play the melody.
Use the „TEMPO+“/„TEMPO-“ buttons (4) to set the desired tempo. Push and hold to fast-forward. Push both buttons at
the same time to reset the song tempo to the default setting.
• Push the „START/STOP“ button (24) to stop playback of the song.
Before you can switch to a different learning mode or exit learning mode with the „LESSON“ button (8), you must stop
playback of the song by pushing the „START/STOP“ button (24).
The same applies to exiting song mode. Stop playback by pushing the „START/STOP“ button (24). Then push the „VOICE“
or „STYLE“ button (21, 22).
