Model loses adhesion to the
print bed.

Print bed not aligned / leveled.

Distance too large. If the nozzle is
too far away from the print bed, the
filament does not have any contact
to the print bed during extrusion
and, as a result, no adhesion to the
print bed either. The model slips
during printing.

Level the print bed.
•
The print bed is not clean, for ex

ample as a result of fingerprints.
Grease residue prevents adhesion
of the filament to the print bed.

Clean the print bed with pure alcohol / spirits.
•
Unfavorable ambient conditions, a
draft, or cold air from air-condition

ing.

Check the ambient conditions.

Observe an ambient temperature of 15 - 32 ºC.

At a room temperature of ≤ 21 °C, it is recommend

ed that the print bed and nozzle are preheated
before printing begins in order to compensate for
differences in temperature between the room tem

perature and the printer.

Model not flatly aligned in the CAD
software.
•
Contact surface to the print bed is
insufficient for optimal adhesion.
•
Model must be aligned again to the zero position in
the CAD software.
The first layers do not adhere
properly to the print bed and
loosen.

The model was not placed flat on
the virtual print bed in the SIMPLEX
sliceware. Model only has limited
contact with the print bed and there

fore insufficient adhesion.

Ensure that the models are dropped correctly.

When enlarging, a gap should not be visible be

tween the model and the print bed. The model must
be placed flat and fitted on the virtual print bed.
•
Tip: Use drop mode in Renfert mode.
Poor adhesion between the
individual layers, gaps in the

Display may show filament
