2.1
Requirements
An E1 emulator is able to power the RSK+ board with up to 200mA. When the board is connected to another
system then that system should supply power to the board. This board have an optional center positive supply
connector using a 2.0mm barrel power jack. The default RSK+ power configuration is shown in
bold, blue
text.
This RSK+ board supports one external voltage input shown in
Table 2-1
below. Details of the external power
supply connection are shown in
Table 2-2
below.

Power-Up Behaviour
When the RSK+ is purchased, the RSK+ board has the 'Release' build of the example tutorial software pre-
programmed into the Renesas microcontroller. Please consult the 'Renesas Starter Kit+ Code Generator
Tutorial Manual' for further information of this example..
There are RSK products which supports the 12V voltage input. Since this board is supporting the 5V voltage input, be
careful not to connect the power supply of a high-voltage output accidentally.
Moreover, the main power supply connected to PWR should supply a minimum of 10W to ensure full functionality.
