6.4 Description of parameters
NOTE
: If you are using a Windows based program in conjunction with a
Rena printer driver, the Windows program must be used to control the
menu features in the printer. If you have set up the printer, using the
printer’s programming mode, these settings will be over-ridden (reset)
by the Windows program.

Selecting a configuration.
A specific configuration can be set up for various applications.
NOTE
: When using a Windows program in conjunction with a Rena
printer driver, the software and driver are go used to control the internal
printer settings. In this case, you do not need to use the “Setting” feature.
In addition, if you have set parameters under a particular setti ng, they will
be changed (reset) by the Windows software and Rena printer driver.
Configuration “No. 0“ is the default setting which cannot be changed. The
choice (No. 0) should only be used momentarily, for test purposes.
Configurations “No. 1 through No. 9“ may be individually set.
When programming mode has ended, the changes made are
automatically stored under the selected setting number.
The set configurations are retained when the printer is switched off.
At a works initialization (
prog
key is kept pressed down at turn-on), all
configurations are set to the default settings.
FONT
The printer contains 13 fonts and font sizes. Simply select the one you
require.
PRINT QUALITY
Selection of print quality. The higher the number, the better the quality of
the print-out.
LEFT MARGIN
Setting the left margin within a range from 0 – 304 mm.
The value is changed in mm increments. If the
next

prev
keys are
kept pressed down, the value is changed in cm increments.
