Airplane and Systems Description

Systeme 7 - 5

structure of the fuselage

The  skins  of  the  fuselage  are  build  of  a  monolithic  layup  of  glass,
carbon  and  Kevlar,  reinforced  by  carbon  tapes.  Sandwich  material
(foam) is found in the fixed surface of the  vertical tail  only,  which is
an  integral  part  of  the  fuselage.  The  fuselage  skin  is  stiffened  by
stringers and frames.
