9 Software update
The procedure for loading new software onto the
controller/remote control of your REMKO heat
pump is as follows:
1. Disconnect the entire heat pump system
(outside and indoor unit) from the mains
supply before updating the software.
Therefore the Stand-by mode should be acti-
vated. If heat pump operation is deactivated,
switch off the heat pump components com-
pletely via the fuses.
2. After the system has been de-energised,
replace the SD cards of the display and the
I/O module. If remote controls are also con-
nected, they must also be fitted with new SD
cards. The SD cards of the individual compo-
nents differ in colour. The SD card for the I/O
module is black. The SD card for the regula-
tion of the heat pump as well as for the con-
nected remote controls have a white side.
NOTICE!
The SD cards must not be mixed up!
3. After replacing the SD cards, switch the
system back on via the fuses you switched
off previously.

The system will now adopt the new software. Once
the Smart-Control controller/remote control has
adopted the new data, the following image will
appear on the display:

Use the “+/-” indicators to select the appropriate
country code and confirm with “OK”.
Then deactivate the “Stand-by” operating mode
Now alter the following settings one after the other:
Country code assignment
Commissioning

Load settings
¯
Adopt “execute” with “OK”
