SHAVING
To Shave
1.
Remove power adaptor from the shaver (Diagram A).
2.
Press the power button to activate the shaver for shaving.
3.
Pull the trimmer release button to engage the trimmer, and use it to remove
long hair first. Then push trimmer downward to lock it in when finished.
4.
Use your free hand to stretch your skin so that the hairs stand upright. This
encourages your facial hair to stand out, making it easier for them to enter the
foil and engage the intercept trimmer
5.
Hold the shaver so that the foils touch your skin simultaneously. The
independently floating screens automatically adjust to the contours of your
face. Only apply light pressure on the shaving head while shaving and use
short, circular strokes
6.
After shaving, turn the shaver off by pressing the power button.
SHAVING TIPS
For A Better Shave
For a smoother, more comfortable, moisture-free shave, use a Remington®
Pre-Shave Powder Stick (SP5).
**Remington recommends that you use your new shaver daily for up to three
weeks to allow time for your hair and skin to become accustomed to the new
shaving system**
t
Ensure your skin is dry and free of oils.
t
Wait at least 15 minutes after getting up before shaving, to ensure your face is
free of puffiness that may be present from sleeping.
t
Always hold the shaver at a right angle to the skin so that both heads are
touching the skin with equal pressure.
t
Stretch skin with the free hand so hairs stand upright, making it easier for
them to enter the cutting chamber.
t
Shave with short, circular strokes. The use of short, circular motions in
stubborn areas may obtain a closer shave, especially along the neck and chin
line.
t
Do not press hard against the skin in order to avoid damage to foil heads.
