Lubricate
Remington® Shaver Saver (SP-4) lubricates, cleans and protects your shaver’s
foil and cutter assembly. The lubricant helps remove hair clippings while
reducing wear. Spray on the foil and cutters after each shave to keep your
shaver operating at peak performance.
REPLACING YOUR HEADS & CUTTERS
It is very important to replace your foils and cutters when necessary to ensure a
close, comfortable shave without irritation. We recommend they be replaced
every 6 months for optimal performance. Here are some signs of head and
cutter wear, indicating that replacement is needed.
Signs that your foils and cutters need replacing:
Irritation: As the foils become excessively worn you may experience some skin
irritation or redness.
Pulling: As the cutters wear, your shave may not feel as close and you may feel
your cutter pulling your hair.
Wear through: You may notice that the cutters have worn through the foils.
TO REPLACE THE FOIL
Pull the foil assembly up to remove from the hair pocket.
Insert new foil assembly in hair pocket until it snaps in place.
TO REPLACE THE CUTTERS
Grasp cutter between thumb and fore finger and pull upward.
Snap both new cutter assemblies into top of oscillator tips.
