4. OpEratION
After connecting and configuring Reloop Contour correctly for the DJ software, Traktor can now be
used. If Traktor Pro is used it is possible to fully exploit the Contour user interface. There are some
differences for Traktor LE regarding effect control, the number of usable decks and the hot cue
assignment.
NOtE!
In the following the whole traktor function assignment will be described. Some features are only
available in traktor pro and therefore they have been marked grey in the following chart.

T1
FX 1 routing Button
Hereby the FX 1 unit can be assigned to the
current deck (see -T6-).
master deck assignment
The current deck becomes the master deck.
T2
FX 2 routing Button
Hereby the FX2 unit can be assigned to
the current deck (see -T6-).
SNap Function
Via this function it is possible to arrange the
set cue points and loops along the grid.
T3
FX 3 routing Button
Hereby the FX 3 unit can be assigned
to the current deck (see -T6-).
Quantize Function
Triggerd hot cues are geared to the master
deck‘s beat. Convenient for real-time mixing.
T4
FX 4 routing Button
Hereby the FX 4 unit can be assigned to the
current deck (see -T6-).
LFO reset Function
Sets back all LFO-based effects.
T5 tracklist Navigation
By turning the encoder you can scroll
through the track directory.
By pressing the encoder you can load
the selected track to the current deck.
Folder Navigation
By turning the encoder you can navigate the
folder direcotry.
By pressing the encoder you can open/close
the selected direcotry.
T6 deck assignment Buttons
By pressing one of the buttons the current
deck can be determined. The LEDs change
accordingly.
NOtE!
Only decks a & B can be used in traktor
LE.
deck cue Buttons
By using one of the cue buttons the monitoring
function for the current deck will be activated.
NOtE!
Only the first two buttons are available for
traktor LE.
T7 dry/wet Fine adjustment
Via the encoder the effect‘s intensitsy
can be adjusted.
Effect change <advanced E.>
If the Advanced Effect section is selected, the
effect can be changed by turning the encoder.
T8 dry/wet Fader
Hereby the effect‘s intensity can be
changed quickly.
Headphones volume
The fader changes the headphones‘ volume.
Only available in stand alone mode.
T9 Effect parameter <advanced E.>
In Advanced Effect Mode the parameters
can be adjusted herewith.
dry/wet Fine adjustment <chained E.>
If Chained Effect Mode is used, the single
effects can be controlled via the encoder.
NOtE!
In traktor LE only the first parameter
is available in chained Effect mode.
Effect change <chained E.>
Hereby the relative effect can be changed in
Chained Effect Mode.
NOtE!
In traktor LE only the first effect section‘s
effect is available.
Equalizer Kill Function
Pressing the encoder activates/deactivates
the equalizer‘s kill function. The first encoder
from the left of this section filters the high
frequencies, the second encoder filters the
mid frequencies and the third encoder filters
the low frequencies.
