Specific Safety Notes
Note:
Avoid using chlorine-free cleaning fluids. Using chlorine cleaning agents keep action time
short and thoroughly rinse with water to avoid deposit and progressive concentration.
Operate the instrument only with appropriate instrument cleaners, e.g. the cleaner Dürr ID
215.
Field of application only in compliance with instrument manufacturer’s instructions.
The brushes must be stored upright to prevent deflection.
•
The ROTOCLEAN EASY is a cleaner suitable for manual pre-cleaning of dental and
surgical instruments prior to putting them into a thermo disinfector or in a chemical
cleaning bath. Workflow according to hygienic directives (pre-cleaning of instruments with
the ROTOCLEAN EASY, thermo-disinfector, packing, sterilization).
•
The brushes may be disinfected and sterilized up to 50 times (no lot number,
identification through basket number).
•
Only use cleaning fluid according to instruments manufacturer’s instructions. The
instruments‘ manufacturer determines cleaning fluid or its components. Application
according to manufacturer’s instructions:
•
acidic cleaning agents = inorganic contamination (scale, deposit)
– especially in the lab;
•
alkaline cleaner = organic contamination (grease, protein, blood);
•
enzymatic cleaner = organic contamination (grease, protein, blood) not suitable for alkali-
resistant instruments.
•
Filling level in the container: shorthaired brush must be completely covered. The almost
optimized speed prevents splashing cleaning fluid. For special angular positions
splashing cannot be prevented. Always pay attention to the position and avoid sudden
change of angle adjustment.
•
Prior to cleaning instruments insert the protective glass in working direction to prevent
splashing cleaning fluid.
•
To avoid injury, appropriate protection should be worn, gloves, protective eyewear and
mouth protection.
•
The cleaning brushes stop moving on accidental manual intervention.
•
Don’t deposit any devices sensitive to cleaning agents near the device.
•
Keep the transformer away from humidity.
