Emptying the Waste Container
1. Turn the central vacuum unit off and disconnect the
power cord from the wall outlet.
2. Hold onto the waste container.
3. Open both latches (refer to Fig. 9).
4. Remove and empty the waste container.
Based on the cyclonic principle of operation, we
recommend inspecting the cardrige filter twice a year
or after every 30 hours of operation.
- Replace the cartridge filter every 2-3 years or after
150 hours of operation.
- Make sure the cartridge filter is dry when shaking
it out.
- Never employ sharp objects or cleansers to clean
the cartridge filter.
For hygienic reasons, REHAU recommends emptying
the waste container prior to inspecting the cartridge
filter.
Cleaning and Replacing the Cartridge Filter
Depending on the type and characteristics of the
vacuumed dust, the formation of a fiber and dust cake
on the cartridge filter is quite normal and generally
results in no loss of vacuum power.
- Allways observe all cleaning intervals!
Warning! Fire hazard!
A damaged or missing cartridge filter can result in
unit overheating and, in the worst case, in a fire.
- Never attempt to operate a unit with a damaged or
missing cartridge filter.
- Regularly inspect the cartridge filter.
