Guidelines for Connecting Hoses

Provide sufficiently long
neutral hose ends (3-5 x
DN)

compression along the
longitudinal axis

Torsion - hose axis and
direction of movement

The pipe axes must be
parallel and in the same
plane as the direction of
movement
Important - the hoses
may also be twisted dur-
ing installation!
When attaching/ detach-
ing a hose, always hold it
in place with a second
wrench
