DID code is sent to the PBX when the corresponding Skype has an
incoming call and the call is answered by PBX. SkyGWO sub Skype
accounts can be simultaneously set for DID and Accept call forwarding,
but the main Skype account can
‟t be set DID, otherwise incoming call
can
‟t be forwarded to sub Skype account. This function can be used
for customer service. Once any customer calls the service Skype
account or SkypeIn number, the call will be directed to a dedicated
customer support.
DOD function can help remote or mobile employees easily be reached.
Such employee
‟s office extension number is the PXB extension port
with DOD enabled. Any incoming call to this extension number for the
specific employee will be forwarded to the assigned DOD Skype
account or SkypeOut number filled in below DOD column. Once the
port with DOD enabled, this port will be only reserved for DOD
application. And the DOD enabled extension number can
’t be set
as the same extension group as other Skype gateway ports which
don
’t enable DOD function. Otherwise, the incoming call into the
DOD enabled extension will be wrong forwarded.
User can use above settings to plan which ports will be used for taking
incoming calls and which ports will be used for calling out.
