Q15:

Why I don’t set Skype auto upgrade, but my Skype was upgraded

after PC start?

SkyGWO software will prevent Skype 8.x auto-upgrade. If Skype version is

upgraded when your computer is power up, one possibility is Skype
upgrade patch is within Windows upgrade patch. You can update Skype to
8.30.0.50 version.

Another possibility is caused by ant-virus software like Avast updater. You

can follow below three steps to uninstall Avast software updater. Then

re-install Skype v8.30.0.50.

Step1: Right-click Avast tray icon at Windows desktop right-bottom corner and

choose “Open Avast user interface”.
