will call a group, subgroup, fleet, or sub fleet of multiple
users on the trunking system simultaneously. Group call is possible
for landline to mobile, and mobile to mobile calls. A routing code of

is used for a group call. The procedure for making a group call is
identical to a landline to mobile or mobile to mobile call. However,
NO CONNECT CODE IS REQUIRED from any of the called mobile
units. After the data packet signal is generated from the Repeater
Trunking Controller, a double beep tone is generated alerting all
parties in the group that the connection is complete, and the
conversation may immediately begin. The mobile units within the
group will then function as normal PTT half duplex transceivers.

A Mobile Operator Call is initiated from the user by pressing a routing
code of

key. Upon receipt of a valid channel
request from the mobile unit, the Repeater Trunking Controller will
transmit a data packet to the called subscriber unit that is assigned as
the mobile operator in the Repeater Trunking Controller. After the
data packet is transmitted, the call will proceed the same as a mobile
to mobile call.
