2.3
Transportation
Use a suitable vehicle according to the unit weight (see Technical Specifications
attached). In order to avoid damages to the painting and to the internal components,
don’t turn upside-down or put the package on the side. The housing is equipped with
lifting brackets.
2.4
Installation
On receipt, carefully check the air-conditioner for possible damages due to the
transportation. In case of evident damages, please contact our offices to obtain the
required support.
2.4.1
Positioning and Leveling
The unit shall be placed on a perfectly horizontal surface (+/-1,5°). Be sure that the
surface is strong enough to support the unit. If it is required to remove the eyebolts, dab
with suitable screws to prevent unwanted entry of water.
2.4.2
Aeraulic connections
In order to guarantee the maximum sealing, the Aeraulic connections must be done
using the special air duct supplied with the machinery. Every flange is equipped with a
continuous gasket against water/dust seepage.
2.4.3
Idraulic connections
Have care to make a siphon, when connecting condensate water discharge.
2.4.4
Placement Margin
The unit shall be installed leaving about 800mm of free space on all sides to allow for
maintenance and proper air circulation. The minimum distance from wall or other body
for the air exchanger side is 500mm, take care leaving free space for air circulation and
for allowing the maintenance of the components.
2.4.5
Electrical connections
Our air conditioners are fully wired at the factory. The main required electrical
connections is the power supply, on split versions the connections between the sub-
units. For this and eventual additional connections, please refer to the Wiring Layout
enclose the this manual.
All the electrical connections must be done according to the local rules and
regulations.
For proper installation of the electrical connections, please refer to the relevant
electrical scheme shipped with the unit.
IMPORTANT
: install the unit with proper grounding.
