Electrical connections
The unit is completely wired in the factory, start-up needs the following
connections only:
• power supply cable.
• Connection to a thermoregulation control device , electromechanical or
electronic (available n°2 terminals for connecting to a free voltage contact)
The electrical connections must be carried out with reference to the diagram
and the nameplate of the machine showing the correct voltage. If not
provided in the electrical panel of the machine, apply upstream protection
line from over-currents. All electrical connections must comply with local
legislation in force at the time of installation. The diagrams shown in the
following documentation must be used to assist in the preparation of the
power lines. For special installation requirements, refer to our technical
department.
IMPORTANT
: install the unit with proper ground connection.
2.5
Turn-on Procedure
A.
Before switching on the unit, verify that:
All the procedures described in Section 4.
All manual valves are open the refrigerant circuit (if present),
even those placed on the compressor suction and discharge.
The mains voltage corresponds to technical data related to
the Model.
The electrical connection is correct.
B.
(*) Turn on the power supply for a few seconds and check that the
motors rotation is correct, if necessary reverse two phases of power
supply on the connection of the power cable. All motors rotate in the
same sense (correct or wrong, synchronized at factory ) so it’s enough
to check on a single motor. CAUTION: Most versions are fitted with
sequence control device, this does not start in the case of incorrect
connections, reverse the two phases and restart
C.
Set the working temperature of the thermostat.
D.
Wait, on reaching the set temperature, the compressor stops occur and
the subsequent start-up after the panel temperature has risen a few
degrees.
(*) For tri-phase versions only
