13. Acoustic Signal Encoder Messages
If the flight control determines any malfunctions during self-test, motor start or in flight, these functional problems are
acoustically indicated via the signal encoder. The following codes are possible:
Error
Sound signal
Gyro error at zero reconciliation roll
1 x brief, then 1 s break
Gyro error at zero reconciliation pitch
2 x brief, then 1 s break
Gyro error at zero reconciliation yaw
3 x brief, then 1 s break
Motor error front
1 x long , 1x brief beep, then 1 s break
Motor error rear
1 x long , 2x brief, then 1 s break
Motor error right
1 x long , 3x brief, then 1 s break
Motor error left
1 x long , 4x brief, then 1 s break
Emergency landing
Permanent sound
Undervoltage level 1
1 Hz (slow sound sequence)
Undervoltage level 2
2.5 Hz (quick sound sequence)
Signalling readiness for flight
1 x brief (0.5 s)
Signalling zero reconciliation
1 x brief (0.5 s)
Signalling motor start
1 x brief (0.5 s)
Signalling motor stop
1 x brief (0.5 s)
The interferences shown are usually not permanent but have been caused by temporary causes.
Disconnection of the battery generates a „Reset“ that usually eliminates the error. The cause for perma-
nent interferences must be found. Also observe all notes described in these operating instructions, item
„LED displays“ in acoustic messages of the signal encoder.
