ERECTING THE SYSTEM

5.  Once the standoff tie is secured, position the climbing unit and mast  
 

assembly with the base close to its final position. Important: Before  

 

erecting mast into position, thoroughly examine area from the  

 

ground up to be sure there are no electrical lines or other  

 

obstructions that will interfere with the erection of the assembly.

6.  By starting at the top end of the assembly, lift the assembly and walk  
 

towards the structure while continuing to tilt the assembly upward  

 

into position. Complete the connection to the standoff tie by fully  

 

securing the swivel joint to the  

 

mast. Visually and physically  

 

check to ensure the connection  

 

is secure before continuing.
