The appliance warms the food up to 160–170°F (70–75°С), and maintains

the temperature for up to 24 hours. To cancel the function press KEEP

WARM/CANCEL. The button indicator goes off.

The function may operate for a period of 24 hours, however, we recommend

using it moderately, because a prolonged thermal exposure may sometimes

affect the flavor of the meal or dry it.

Standard Operating Procedure for Automatic Programs

1.  Measure the ingredients according to the recipe and place them into the

removable bowl

2.  Make sure that all ingredients including liquid are below the scale

mark indicating maximum capacity. Position the bowl inside the

appliance. The bowl must make full contact with the heating element.

3.  Close the lid until it clicks into place. Plug in the appliance.

4.  Press MENU repeatedly to select the program (the corresponding

indicator lights up).

5.  Use the SELECT PRODUCT button to select the product in BOIL/STEAM,

SAUTE, and MULTICOOK. Use the COOK MODE button in the COOK

program to select the subprogram (VACUUM, SLOW COOK, OATMEAL/

GRAINS). Each subprogram features its own default time which is

being displayed.

6.  Adjust the time if necessary

.

7.  Delay the program if necessary. TIME DELAY is not available in SAUTE

and PASTA.

8.  Press the START button. The START button indicator lights up.

The program and the countdown start. In the STEAM program

countdown starts only when water comes to a full boil, providing

enough steam. In the MULTICOOK and SAUTE programs countdown

starts only when the device reaches its operating temperature. In

PASTA – after the water comes to a full boil, products are added, and

the START button is being repressed.

9.  After the cycle is complete an audible signal is heard. The appliance

automatically switches to KEEP WARM (the KEEP WARM / CANCEL

button indicator lights up).

10.  To interrupt or to cancel the program, to disable the KEEP WARM

function press the KEEP WARM / CANCEL button.

To achieve better cooking results, we recommend consulting the

cookbook provided. Each of the 100 recipes has been adjusted for

this particular model.
If you did not manage to achieve the desired results using the automatic

programs, we recommend you use the versatile program MULTICOOK,

featuring wide time and temperature adjustments. This program gives

endless opportunities for new culinary experiments.

MULTICOOK Program

You can use the program to cook any dish with your personal time and tem-

perature settings. REDMOND RMC-M4502A, featuring the MULTICOOK program

can replace a large number of kitchen appliances. Now any recipe, either from

your family cookbook or the Internet, can be adjusted for your multicooker.
Default time depends on the types of the products selected: VEGETABLES,

FISH, MEAT. Default temperature is 320°F (160°C).
Cook time can be adjusted from 5 minutes to 12 hours in 1 minute inter-

vals (for a period of 5 minutes up to 1 hour) and 5 minutes intervals (for

a period of 1 hour to 12 hours).
Use the TEMPERATURE button to set 7 temperature adjustments from

100°F (40°C) to 320°F (160°C).

Various dishes can be prepared with the help of MULTICOOK. Follow

the recommendations of our Rrecipe Book and the MULTICOOK

Temperature Adjustment Recommendations in the back of the Manual

BOIL/STEAM Program

The program is recommended for boiling different food and for steaming

meat, fish, vegetables.

Default time depends on the type of product selected: VEGETABLES, FISH,

MEAT. It can be adjusted from 5 minutes to 1 hour in 1 minute intervals.

2.  Fill the bowl with 2 ½ – 4 cups (600–1000 ml) of water. Place the

steam tray inside the bowl.
