MAKING THE MACHINE READY FOR USE
1. Remove the access hatches 2 by loosening the bolts 1 and taking away the
access hatches.
(Figure 7)
2. Take the supplied loose components out of the machine.
Careful: The knives are sharp!
3. Connect the machine to a tractor (please refer to Chapter 5.0).
Use the proper tractor (please refer to the specifications).
4. Lift the machine off the ground.

Make sure that the tractor is blocked well and cannot move on its own
accord!
6.
Switch off the tractor before descending!
7. Drop the
support jacks
4 of the machine and secure these with levers 3.
8. Carefully drop the machine onto the
support jacks

MAKE SURE THAT THE TRACTOR AND THE VERTI-QUAKE® STAND FIRMLY
ON THE SUBSOIL AND CANNOT SINK OR SLIDE AWAY BEFORE
DESCENDING FROM THE TRACTOR!
9. Loosen the bolts 5 & 6.
10. Assemble the knives: the knife-edge should point in the direction of the back
roller of the machine.
Careful: The knives are sharp!
Tighten bolts 5 & 6 very well.
11. Mount the access hatches 2 and secure these by tightening bolts 1.

12. Adjust the stabilizer of the tractor to a lateral stroke of 50 mm.
13. Determine the length of the PTO according to Chapter 4.
