Trouble Shooting
This product was tested on its functions after production.
However, if there is a malfunction, please check the following
points before contacting our customer service:
The hard disc was not recognised
It may take a few seconds for your system to recognise
a new hard disc. If it is not recognised, check if the LED
lights up, when the hard disc is connected.
The LED does not flicker:
- Check the power supply, the cables and the connectors
and if the hard disc was mounted correctly in the housing.
- Use other USB Ports or a HUB with power supply.
- Has the hard disc been switched on manually by using
the small switch at the head of the housing?
The LED flickers:
- The disc is getting power and is being addressed by the
computer.
- Are the jumpers on the hard disc set to “Master”?
- Is your System updated?
- It may happen that the window for newly attached sto-
rage devices does not automatically open. To check this,
open your Workspace in the Explorer and see if the hard
disc is shown there.
