8. Assembly
Installing the Tool Rest to the Tool Rest Holder
Loosen the locking lever and insert the tool rest into tool rest holder,

adjust the height as required and tighten the locking lever,

Fitting the Tool Holder to the Lathe Bed
On the rear of the lathe bed, below the headstock are 2 tapped holes for
mounting the tool holder,

. Install the tool holder onto the lathe bed
at the rear of the headstock with the two Phillips head screws and washers
supplied,

The washers should be placed on the inside surface of the
tool holder as shown in
Fig 8.5
.
The machine must be unplugged and the power switch must be
in the OFF position until the machine is assembled.
