Battery level
To check the battery level press the button at the back of the battery.
• When the battery is fully charged, all three LEDs are on.
• When the battery is half empty, two LEDs are on.
• When the battery is empty, only one LED is on. Charge the battery immediately.
Charging
• Place the AC charger on a flat and stable surface within about 1 meter from the power
supply socket.
• Remove the battery from the power tool. Press and hold the battery release button and
at the same time slide out the battery.
• Slide the battery to the AC charger maximally so that it locks in place.
• Connect the AC charger to the power supply socket.
• When the battery is fully charged, slide it out from the AC charger and slide it in the
power tool so that it locks in place.
Charging indicators
The AC charger has charging indicators which indicate the status of the charging process:
LED Status
Red Battery charging in progress
Green Battery charging finished, battery fully charged
• It takes about 1,5 hour to fully charge the battery.
• AC charger and battery may heat up during charging. It is a normal behavior.
• When power tool is not in use, it is recommended to charge the battery every three
months.
• When you notice that the power tool performance is decreasing, recharge the battery.
Inserting and removing a work tool
Make sure the drill is switched off and that the battery is disconnected.
• Use only a clean work tool. Before insertion into the tool holder, lubricate the shaft of the
work tool lightly with machine grease.
• The word “work tool” used in this paragraph refers to the bits, drill bits and SDS chuck.
Inserting a work tool to the tool holder
1. Insert the work tool into the tool holder maximally until it locks in place.
2. Ensure that the work tool is securely locked in by firmly pulling it.
* SDS chuck installation in the tool holder is required for impact drilling.
