Remove the lower heat shield bolt from
the front upper control arm pocket at the

frame.

Gently bend the heat shield out of the way

and loosen but do not remove the front
upper control arm bolts.

Loosen but do not remove the front upper
control arms at the axle.

Mark the front drive shaft to pinion flange

for reinstallation later.
