Using the Subtitle Feature
When a DVD is recorded with subtitles, you can use the
Subtitle feature to view the subtitles on-screen.
Changing the Subtitle Language (On the Player)
You can temporarily change the initialized subtitle language
(provided additional languages are included on the DVD) from
the disc information display.
1. During disc playback, press INFO on the remote.
Select a subtitle language and press OK.
2. Use the right MOVE arrow to highlight the subtitle stream
number. (Each language is assigned a stream number.)
3. Use the up and down MOVE arrows or number buttons to
select a subtitle language.
4. Press the right MOVE arrow to highlight the subtitle on/off
checkbox. Use the up and down MOVE arrows to turn the
subtitle feature on or off. A check appears in the box when
subtitles are turned on.
5. Press INFO
twice
to turn off the information display.
Note:
•
When the player is turned on, the initialized subtitle
language is selected. If the disc does not contain this
