6. Check tracks for rotation.
•
If there is only slight rotation, stop
engine, engage parking brake and lower
unit to the ground.
•
If there is excessive rotation, set neutral
position as directed below.
Adjust Neutral Position
Disconnect track drive shaft from wheel hub.
1. Remove shear pins (2) from shaft coupler.
(See Figure 24.)

2. Loosen the return-to-neutral screw on the
transaxle. (See Figure 25.)

3. Slowly turn transaxle control arm in the
opposite direction of hub rotation until hub
stops. (See Figure 26.)

4. Hold the transaxle control arm in position
and tighten the return-to-neutral screw.
5. Start engine, move throttle lever to fast
position and release parking brake.
6. Move steering joystick forward and
backward 5 or 6 times and then return
levers to neutral position.
7. Check tracks hubs for rotation.

If there is only slight rotation, stop
engine, reinstall shear pins from shaft
coupler, return unit to operating position
and advance to

Interlock
on page
24.
•
If there is excessive rotation, repeat
steps 1 – 6.
ADJUST PARKING BRAKE
INTERLOCK
WARNING:
Avoid Injury
.
This adjustment requires operating the
engine. Use extreme care to avoid
contact with moving parts and hot
surfaces. Be sure unit is and secure and
will not move.
If the parking brake interferes with the neutral
position of the transaxles, the brake interlock may
need adjustment.
Check Parking Brake Interlock
1. Place unit in service position, but DO NOT
engage parking brake. Chock or block tracks
instead. See
Service Position
on page 17.
2. Make sure steering controls are in neutral
position.
