Locking Armrest - All Models
Tools needed: ½” wrench, 3/16” hex key
Kit includes: Left & Right Latch Plate, Left Spring & Right Spring,
5/16” x ¾” bolt (x2), 5/16” flat washer (x2), 5/16” Lock Nut
1. Remove pieces from kit.
2. Take a 5/16” bolt and insert a 5/16”
washer onto it.
3. Install armrest latch spring 90
o
bend
end into the small hole on the
armrest support fin with the 90
o
bend
facing towards forward section of
armrest.
4. Insert bolt/washer assembly into arm
pivot plate and spring..

Stretch spring hook counter
clockwise and install latch plate over
bolt and spring with the stop facing
towards the outside of the arm.
6. Release spring and hook section will
rest on upper edge of stop latch.
7. Install 5/16” lock nut.
8. Tighten nut only until bolt threads
penetrate nylon in nut. Do not over-
tighten, as spring mechanism will not
rotate freely.
9. Repeat steps 2 to 8 for other
armrest.
To mount the armrest assembly onto the chair:
1. Take the armrest pivot plate and insert the coved spacer over the upper socket
protrusion.
2. Insert the armrest pivot plate with inner coved spacer into receiver hole on armrest tube.
3. Place a second coved spacer onto the armrest pivot plate socket.
4. Insert 3/8” x 2” bolt and 3/8” washer onto assembly.
5. Place armrest pivot plate against armrest support weld mount at desired height.
6. Place a 3/8” lock nut onto the bolt and tighten.
7. Using the top bolt assembly as a pivot point,
rotate the armrest pivot plate until the
preferred angle is attained. The angle is
limited, as the three lower holes on the pivot
plate must align with a receiver hole on the
armrest support weld mount.
8. Insert a 3/8” x ¾” bolt and 3/8” washer into
one of the receiver holes on the armrest pivot
plate.
9. Finish with a 3/8” lock nut and tighten.
10. Repeat steps 1 to 9 for other armrest
assembly.
