RESET TM

can only be used in conjunction with the

preset.

With the

setting, the radar video is carried in the direction of travel by approx.

65% of the PPI up to a radial limit (see Figure: 2

−

23) according to course

direction.
When this limit is reached, the radar video is reset by this 65% along the current
course.

RESET TM

Activating the toggle field resets the radio video.
Depending on the situation, this allows a maximum forward view in the radar
video.
