9 Operating the Antenna Controller
9.3 Getting Started
1. Turn the antenna controller on using the
main power switch located on the back of
the unit.
. Verify that the
On/Standby
indicator on
the front of the controller is green.
. On the LCD screen you will see the
controller’s software version. You will
then see the status of the antenna, also
known as outdoor unit (ODU).
. The antenna will begin searching for
the selected satellite. It will begin with
an ‘
Initialization
’ process, followed by
‘
Acquisition
’ and ‘
Checking
’ (Figure -).

9.4 Selecting the Satellite
1. To select the satellite you wish to operate
on, use the ‘
Up / Down
’ arrows to scroll
through the various satellites.
. Once the appropriate satellite is found,
press the ‘
Enter
’ button to select.
. The Stealthray will now go through
the ‘
Initialization
’, ‘
Acquisition
’, and
‘
Checking
’ process.
. Once the antenna locks onto the satellite,
the LCD screen will show ‘
Tracking
’
(Figure -).

9.5 Front Panel Menu Options
Your antenna controller has four menu
options for inputting parameters and
troubleshooting. Pressing the ‘
Enter
’ button
will bring up the following menus:
1. Setup
. Install
3. IP Config
. Diagnostics
Use the ‘
Up / Down
’ arrows to scroll
through these menu options.
The ‘
Diagnostics
’
menu is used to setup
the antenna controller for proper operation.
The other three menu options are used for
two-way data communications systems and
are not applicable for SpeedRay operations.
These menu options are password protected.
Use the ‘
Up / Down
’ arrows to scroll
through and view the various parameters. To
change a parameter, hit the ‘
Enter
’ button
and the parameter will begin flashing. Use
the ‘
Up / Down
’ arrows to scroll through
parameter options. Hit ‘
Enter
’ to accept the
parameter change. Hit ‘
Esc
’ to back out of
the parameter or selected menu.
