how to properly install the IDU and satellite
receiver to the inside of the vehicle’s body.
6.1 Placement of IDU and Receiver

the IDU inside the vehicle. Decide where
to locate the IDU and satellite receiver,
and make sure that both units are placed in
a dry and protected area. Typically, they
are placed under a seat for protection. The
IDU and satellite receiver should be placed
away from any heat source and in an area
with proper ventilation. Ensure that there
is at least 5cm of space around both units
for ventilation and connection of cables.
