The following notes refer to the above tables.
Note 1: the higher frequency range applies at 80 MHz and 800 MHz.
Note 2: these guidelines may not apply in all cases.
Electromagnetic propagation is affected by absorption and
reflection from structures, objects and people.
a
It is not possible to accurately predict the theory related to the field strength of fixed transmitters, such
as base stations for wireless telephones and land mobile radios, amateur radio stations, AM and FM radios
and TV sets. To assess the electromagnetic environment created by fixed transmitters, a study of the
electromagnetic phenomena of the location should be considered. If the measured field strength in the
location in which the Rayonex Rayocomp PS 10 is used exceeds the RF compliance level above, the device
should be monitored to verify normal operation. If abnormal performance is observed, additional measures
may be necessary, such as changing the direction or location of the Rayonex Rayocomp PS 10.
b
Over the frequency range 150 kHz to 80 MHz, field strengths should be below 3 V/m.
The Rayonex Rayocomp PS
10 is intended for use in an
electromagnetic environment,
where RF disturbances are
controlled. The operator
of the Rayonex Rayocomp
PS 10 can help reduce
electromagnetic disturbances
by maintaining a minimum
distance of 30 cm between
the Rayonex Rayocomp PS
10 and portable and mobile
HF telecommunications
devices (transmitters).
