The next step is the
Cable Length
selection. The range of cable length is 0m-999m or 0ft-999ft
depending on system units selection. The cable length is changed by pressing the ‘
UP
’ or ‘
DOWN
’
buttons of the Primary module. The selection is applied by pressing the ‘
ENTER
’ button of the Primary
module.

The cable length is the measured distance from the PowerPlus 100-3-1U system to the radio input.
The system then calculates 2X this cable length to account for the
return
and -48V
cable runs.

Top Voltage Target Selection

The next step is the ‘
Top Voltage Target
’ selection. The range of this parameter is from -60V to -54V
and could be selected by pressing the
‘UP’
and
‘DOWN’
buttons of the primary module in a step of
1V. The top voltage target is the minimum operational voltage threshold for the RRU and the default
value is -54V. Top voltage target value below -58V (-59V or -60V) could cause eventually RRU high
voltage alarms and is not recommended.
