Gun Troubleshooting
Note:
Do not replace or swap guns while power is on. Shut AC power off before connecting or
disconnecting any components. If, for some reason, guns are changed while power is on, shut off AC
power and reboot after the guns are connected again. Failure to do so may confuse the system so it
does not recognize the guns.

Calibrate guns.
Dirty/damaged

Clean gun lens.
Replace lens, if necessary.
Faulty/dirty IR sensors
Clean IR sensors and run Gun
Camera Test to look for flickering or
missing lights.
Remove sensor covers and check
cables and connections inside
cabinet.
Gun
disconnected
Check USB connections.
Reboot game to let software
re-identify guns.
Faulty USB port
Swap gun to another USB port to
test.
Reboot game to let software
re-identify guns.
Disconnected USB cable
Check connections at PC and at
junction between monitor assembly
and front pedestal.
Display out of adjustment
Enter display diagnostics menu and
repair.
Left gun misidentified as 2

Calibrate guns, making sure to
validate left gun as first player in
first step.
Reboot game to let software
re-identify guns.
Internal wires pinched by housing
Disassemble gun and carefully route
wiring through channels.
Bad
solenoid
Run Gun Click Test. Replace
solenoid, if necessary.
Bad power supply to solenoid
Check 12V power supply. Check gun
wiring cables and connectors.
Camera board in gun disconnected.
Check cables inside gun.
Gun LEDs not working.
Check 12V power supply and cables.
Open gun and check for pinched or
disconnected cable.
Bright or neon lights interfering with
sensors.
Remove external lights from around
cabinet.
