Chapter 4

John Deere 8X60/8X70 Series SmarTrax™ Installation Manual

1.

Insert the two large, rectangular connectors of the node harness (P/N 115-4001-205) into the correct ports
of the node.

2.

Tighten the bolts on the harness connectors to secure the connections.

3.

Locate the ENABLE connector on the node harness and connect it to the foot switch cable connector.

Install the Valve Harness

Connect the 12-pin Deutsch connector on the valve harness (P/N 115-4001-204) to the mating 12-pin
connector on the node harness (P/N 115-4001-205)

2.

Plug the 3-pin PSI 1 and PSI 2 connectors from the valve harness into the pressure transducers installed on
the flow switch.

Note:

These connections can be plugged into either transducer.
