PROB LEM

C AUSE

SOLUT I ON

Engine runs erratically

Fuel line blocked.

Clean fuel line/filter.

Dirty or old fuel.

Drain tank. Refill with fresh, clean

gasoline.

Dirty air filter.

Clean/replace air filter.

Spark plug wire loose.

Check and connect wire.

Engine overheats

Air intake screen plugged.

Clean any debris from around cooling

fins and blower housing.

Oil level low.

Check oil, fill with proper amount.

Excessive ethanol in fuel

Drain tank. Refill with fresh gasoline

containing less than 10% ethanol.

Engine clicks but will not start

Weak or dead battery.

Recharge battery.

Damaged wiring.

Check all wiring and replace as

necessary.

Corroded battery terminals.

Clean battery terminals.

Faulty starter.

Call for Service

Excessive Vibration

Worn or bent blade(s).
