1 Important and basic information
In order to avoid damage and danger, please read these operating instructions carefully and follow the
instructions before transporting / installing / commissioning / maintaining or servicing the product. The
operating instructions are part of the product and must accompany this product over its entire lifetime.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage due to:

non-observance of these operating instructions

improper use

use of untrained personnel

technical changes

unauthorized modifications

use of unapproved spare parts
The actual scope of delivery may deviate from the design and illustrations described in the case of special
versions, additional equipment or due to the latest technical changes.
The general terms and conditions of Ravaglioli S.p.A. apply as well as the obligations agreed in the deliv-
ery contract at the time the contract was concluded.
1.1 General

In addition, generally applicable, legal and other binding regulations on safety, accident
prevention and environmental protection must be observed and applied.

The safety and danger-conscious work of the personnel is to be checked in compliance
with the operating instructions.

Use personal protective equipment where necessary or required by regulations.

Keep all safety and hazard warnings in a readable condition!

The product may only be operated if it is in perfect technical condition!

Spare parts must correspond to the technical requirements defined by the manufacturer.
This is only guaranteed for original spare parts.
1.2 Responsibility of the operator
The operator is subject to the statutory occupational safety obligations and is responsible for maintaining
the functional safety of the product.
He commits himself to:

only allow people to work on the product who have read and understood the safety
regulations in this manual and have confirmed this with their signature.

only allow sufficiently qualified specialists to work with the product after being instructed.

apply the applicable health and safety regulations.

define operating instructions with the necessary behavioral requirements for operating the
product at the work site, to regularly check these operating instructions throughout the
entire service life of the product and to adapt them if necessary.

clearly define the responsibilities for operation and maintenance.

carry out setting, maintenance and inspection work in a timely manner as specified in the
operating instructions.


provide the necessary protective equipment.
