5. Reconnect power to the Badger LF, then test unit for
proper function.
Run unit for 30 minutes, monitoring for any
unusual sounds or excessive vibration.
IN-LINE INSTALLATION
1.
Remove a section of exhaust line between 13 and 14
inches using PVC pipe cutter.
2. Install existing exhaust line from unit into inlet
coupling of the muffler and tighten hose clamp using
5/16" nut driver or flathead screwdriver
(FIGURE 5)
.
3. Install external vented exhaust to outlet coupling and
tighten hose clamp using 5/16" nut driver or flathead
screwdriver.
4. Verify that weight of muffler is properly supported,
then test unit for proper function.
Run unit for 30 minutes, monitoring for any
unusual sounds or excessive vibration.

WARNING
To prevent any chance of electrical shock, always
disconnect power when indicated.
TOOLS NEEDED
5/16" Nut Driver or Flathead Screwdriver
PVC Pipe Cutter
PVC Deburring Tool
ON-UNIT INSTALLATION
1.
Disconnect power to the Badger LF at disconnect
box.
2. Remove the inlet coupling with 5/16" nut driver and
discard
(FIGURE 4)
.
NOTE:
Make sure that the flow arrow on the muffler
assembly is pointed in an upward direction away from
the unit.
3. Insert muffler inlet side into inlet coupling, then
tighten hose clamp using 5/16" nut driver or flathead
screwdriver.
4. Insert existing exhaust into outlet coupling, then
tighten hose clamp using 5/16" nut driver or flathead
screwdriver.
