4. INSTALLING DUAL CHECK VALVE (SEE FIG. 1)
The RainSmart
TM
comes with 1 x Dual Check Valve.
The Dual Check Valve must be installed between the Mains water line and Motorised Ball Valve. The arrow
provided on the Dual Check Valve must point towards the Motorised Ball Valve. Therefore the Dual Check
Valve male end must be screwed into the Motorised Ball Valve female end.
It is necessary to install the Dual Check Valve as described. This installation method will adhere to government
requirements. The installation must be carried out by a licensed plumber.
5. INSTALLING FLOAT SWITCH
a) Counterweight Installation : To assemble the Float Switch components. Peel the plastic clip from the
counter weight. Fit this clip to the lead at approximately 200mm from the float head (as described below
in FIG. 3 picture 1). Feed the counterweight through the lead towards the float head. Feed through until
the counterweight rests on the plastic clip.
