EXHAUST:
Allow engine and exhaust to cool before operating.
• Remove accumulated debris from the exhaust area and cylinder area.
• Make sure the exhaust is free of cracks, corrosion or other damage.
• If the exhaust system is equipped with a spark arrester, it must be clean and passive. After removing the spark
arrester and removing any rough dirt, clean the spark arrester with a fine brush (such as a toothbrush) from all
deposits. After cleaning, reassemble it.
CARBON LEAVES:
It is advisable to remove the carbon sludge from the cylinder, the upper side of the piston and the valves
bypassing every 100 - 300 operating hours at an authorized service center.
FUEL SYSTEM:
Spare parts of the fuel system (plugs, hoses, tanks, filters, etc.) must be • Check the condition of the fuel hoses
regularly.
• Replace the fuel hose every 2 years. If the fuel leaks from the fuel hose, replace
fuel hose immediately.
ENGINE SETTINGS:
Do not alter the rated engine speed (carburettor or governor) in any way.
Your engine is factory tuned. If the engine settings are changed in any way, the warranty will be voided. If
additional adjustment is required (eg for high altitude), contact an authorized service center!
STORAGE:
CLEAN THE MACHINE BEFORE STORAGE IN ACCORDANCE WITH PARAGRAPH MAINTENANCE /
CLEANING.
WARNING: Keep this machine in a place where fuel vapors cannot be reached by open flames or sparks.
Allow the fuel to dry before long storage. Always let the machine cool before storing.
• Keep the machine in a dry, clean and freeze-proof place, out of reach of unauthorized persons persons
storage. If you keep a tank of gasoline for refueling, make sure it contains only fresh gasoline.
• Add a gasoline stabilizer by following the manufacturer’s instructions.
• After adding a gasoline stabilizer, start the engine for 10 minutes to make sure that the treated gasoline has
replaced the raw gasoline in the carburetor.
Note: Do not store the machine with fuel in the tank for more than 14 days. Long-term storage with gasoline in
the tank will lead to oxidation of gasoline. Old (oxidized and watery) fuels will cause difficulty starting the engine,
clogging or damaging the entire fuel system, especially the carburetor.
TRANSPORTATION:
Do not transport or transport the machine while the engine is running. Allow the engine to cool before
transporting the machine. The fuel tank must be empty. Spilled fuel or fuel vapor can ignite.
1. Empty the fuel tank with the suction pump. Start the engine and let it run until it uses all the other gasoline
and stalls.
2. Close the fuel cap firmly.
3. Turn the engine switch and fuel valve (if equipped) to the off or stop position.
4. Allow engine to cool before transportation.
5. Be careful not to drop or hit the machine during transport.
6. Secure the machine firmly in the upright position while transporting.
7. Be careful not to hit the machine during transport. Do not place objects on the device.
