5.Press the safety lock (fig. 9A) and keep it pressed.
6.Pull and keep hold of the operating lever (fig. 9B).
7.Release the operating safety lock.
8.To turn off the machine, release the switch handle.
The machine starts only if you press the switch button first and then press the switch handle. By
the reverse procedure, the machine will not start.
SWITCH ON HEADLIGHT
Switch on and off headlights by using switch (fig. 10A).
Note: The headlight illuminates only when the engine is switched on.
The reflector can be tilted to decrease or increase the range of light - to tilt the reflector please release
arresting nut (fig. 10B) fix the reflector to the desired position and lock by the nut.
SNOW CLEARING TIPS
•Clear snow right after it has fallen. If you wait too long, the lower layer will ice up and make
clearing it more difficult.
•If possible, clear the snow in the direction of the wind. •Clear the snow so that each pass overlaps slightly.
•Clear area of debris. Be sure that the area is clear of stones, sticks, wire or other foreign objects which
could be accidentally thrown out by the machine or wrapped around the rotating parts.
It may cause serious personal injury to the operator and others as well as damage to property and
surrounding objects.
•Work with the machine only on safety surface. Do not work on stone or gravel surfaces - danger of
machine damage and flying stones.
• Do not overload the capacity of the appliance by attempting to clear snow at too fast a rate.
The forward speed of the snow thrower is dependent on the depth and weight of the snow.
Experience will establish the most effective method of using the snow thrower under different conditions.
CLEANING THE MACHINE
As soon as you finish the work, remove from the machine all the rests of snow. The rests of snow can
get frozen in the machine and the machine will be overloaded, more over the frozen pieces of snow and ice
could be thrown away. While cleaning, repairs, adjusting, servicing and when you leave the machine always
switch off the motor and unplug the power cord.
CLEARING A CLOGGED DISCHARGE
Risk of injury! Switch off the product and disconnect the mains plug before all cleaning and maintenance
work. Wait till all moving parts are completely stopped.
•Remove clogging with suitable tool - such as wooden handle.
Warning: Never use your hands to clear a clogged discharge.

•Careful handling and regular cleaning ensure that the product remains functional and efficient for a long

•Brush off coarse dirt.
•Wipe down the product with a slightly damp cloth.
•Never spray the product with water or expose it to water.
•Never use detergents or solvents for cleaning. This can cause irreparable damage to the product. The
plastic parts can be eaten away by chemicals.
