4.8.2 Enable / Disable Sensor
This function allows the user to selectively enable or
disable individual sensors in the Q-RAE
monitor. When a
sensor is disabled, the sensor will not measure nor display
the gas concentration.
1. “Enable / Disable Sensors?” is the next sub-menu item
in Table 4.7.
2. Press
[Y/+] key. The display shows all the installed
sensors in the monitor. A previously enabled sensor is
marked by an “*’’ next to the sensor name. The cursor
will blink at the first sensor location. Press
[Y/+] key to
enable the sensor and [N/-] key to disable the sensor. A
previously disabled sensor will show “----” instead of
the sensor name.

3. Press [MODE] key momentarily to move from one
sensor location to the next one. Repeat Step 2 until all
the sensors that need to be enabled are selected. Press
and hold
[MODE] key for 1 second to save the new
sensor selection.
4. The display shows “Save?” To confirm the new
selection, press the [Y/+] key to accept the change.
Press the [N/-] key or the [MODE] key to discard the
change and move to the next sub-menu.
